Prima Design Team Call

I am going to take the plunge and in the nick of time pluck up the courage to apply for the Prima Design Team again...this will be nr 4 for me...but as one of the currant designers told me last year...she made 6 calls! That means I have some catching up to do.
I am applying with not much hope of ever making THE TEAM...not because I think I'm not good enough, for going through my work to seek some pages to showcase I realised that I have actually made some pretty darn good pages in my time... I just realise and am realistic about the fact that there are sooooo many amazing Scrappers and Artist out there who have a great following making them more suitable to be chosen for the Team...
Please take a few minutes to enjoy what I am showing today, and feel free to follow the links to the original posts for more details...all except the first one, I made that today and have not written the blog yet. I hope to show that I am able to create clean and simple as well as more artistic and Mixed Media. I do not need to say that I am an absolute FAN of Prima Papers, Flowers, Resin Pieces and of course the Finnabair Art products...

Dream Garden

The Best Thing

I want to wish the Prima Team all the very best in choosing the next Design Team...And rest for sure...I will be back for number 5 and 6!!!

The world needs dreamers
 and the world needs doers.
But above all, the world needs
dreamers who do.

Live Beautifully
Dusty Attic~April

This is such a beautiful photo of my daughter Michelle...you might be seeing it a few times more!
For this page I used Kaisercraft Papers from the 'Betsy's Couture Collection, Petaloo Flowers and my favourite combination...Dusty Attic chipboard and Lindy's Stampgang...

I treated both the title and Swirly Vine as follows...After a layer of Gesso I randomly dabbed on some coarse Texture Paste. I then painted with some LSG Magicals 'Shabby Turbine Teal' and 'Oak Leave Olive' Mica's mixed with Soft Gel.
The Ornate Corner was embossed with LSG Embossing Powders, 'Café au Lait' and 'Queen Sheba's Silver'.

I used the largest of the Vine Frame #2, embossed it with Stampendous Aged Embossing Powders 'Teal' and 'Ivory' and used pieces of it between my flower cluster.

I coloured the flowers from Petaloo with some 'Steampunk Sepia' Magicals from LSG...
